The AP Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Board (APMAPB) aims to provide subsidies to farmers cultivating medicinal plants across the state of Andhra Pradesh. Annually, approximately 10,000 farmers apply for this subsidy. As part of their efforts, the APMAPB intends to leverage the Meeseva platform to assist farmers in filling out their subsidy application forms at the Grama Sachivalyams (village secretariats) of Andhra Pradesh.
To achieve this, the APMAPB requests the implementation of a service through Meeseva that facilitates farmers in applying online for subsidies towards the cultivation of medicinal plants. This service should be accessible not only through Meeseva centers but also through Grama Sachivalyams, ensuring ease of access for farmers across the state.
By utilizing the Meeseva platform, the APMAPB aims to streamline the application process, making it more convenient for farmers to apply for and receive subsidies for their medicinal plant cultivation efforts. This initiative reflects the board's commitment to supporting and promoting medicinal plant cultivation among farmers in Andhra Pradesh.
